About Sítio Mãe Da Providência

The son of a coffee farmer, Edenilson fulfilled his dream of following in his fathers footsteps when he bought his first plot of land at age 19.  Years later he met Ciomara, a graduate in agronomy and coffee farming studies who became his wife.  The couple manage every detail of production with precision: separating lots by harvest time, plot, and ripeness level.  This pursuit of excellence led them to the Cooxupé Cooperative whose resources allowed for continued education in soil management, selective harvesting, and controlled drying methods. 

In 2019 Mãe Da Providência won their first specialty coffee contest, a triumph they repeated in 2023 and 2025.  We are truly honored to celebrate Edenilson and Ciaomara’s dedication to their family, community, and the land.  Mãe Da Providência is the third and most limited release in our series of national winners from the Brazil Cup of Excellence competition that we are thrilled to share.
